A big mistake I've seen a lot of BitLife players make is that when selecting a character for the Dealer Pack update, they choose a character with the Crime trait. While technically correct, to excel as a dealer, you need the Dealer trait more than the Crime trait. So if you have the God Mode DLC, try making a character like that instead of a crime-style avatar.

Instead of wasting time as a kid, start dealing random items with your parents, siblings, and friends. This will greatly enhance your dealing skills and help you join a cartel without much effort.
