Sand Land has so many great elements to it. From the very beginning, you can tell how involved the late Akira Toriyama was in the creation of the game. It feels and looks very much like his work, and there’s a lot to love about this cartoonish action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world.
Sand Land: 11 Essential Tips and Tricks
Sand Land is a great game to play no matter what difficulty level you choose when starting a new game. Easy mode is perfect for RPG gamers who enjoy the story, while Hard mode is better for those players who want the action scenes to be more challenging. Plus, there are so many great features; it really brings together the best parts of an RPG into one game that is super fun.
I primarily use the Nintendo Switch for gaming, so it’s a little disappointing that Sand Land isn’t available on the Switch. It would be an excellent Switch game; it really has that feel. Thankfully, it’s available on Steam and runs very well on Steam Deck, so all is not lost if you want to play on the go.
The auto-collect feature is definitely one of my favorite things about Sand Land. Items automatically come to you after killing enemies or hitting plants/wildlife with your vehicle. You have to be nearby for them to float, so make sure to run/drive past your fallen enemies.
