Sometimes it’s hard to part with a game you love. Just look at Skyrim fans, who mobbed against Father Time himself until the very end. But sometimes, as consoles evolve and developers move on, you just have to. Thankfully, some games are so beloved, the fans so vocal, and the developers just wise enough, that we get a remastering of an old-school game. This is great not only because we get improved graphics, performance, and often a few other neat features along with the familiar face, but because the wider audience, who might otherwise be hesitant to try an “old game,” gets a chance to experience a true classic.
