Google Meet has become one of the leading video conferencing solutions over the past six months. It’s free, doesn’t force you to jump through hoops, and is as secure as you want it to be. If you’re a working professional or student, chances are your workplace or institution has either already switched to Google Meet or will be switching in the coming days. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how you can instantly join a Google Meet meeting when the time comes.
Google Meet: How to Join a Meeting
As you may already know, having a Personal, Workspace, or Education account is essential if you want to dive deep into the world of Google Meet. However, under special circumstances, it is possible to join a Google Meeting without actually having a Google Account.
First of all, this option is only available to Workplace account users. You can’t join a personal Google Meet session without a Google account. Secondly, if you don’t have a Google account, you can’t join a Workplace meeting from your mobile device, you’ll need a PC for that. Finally, if you don’t have a Google account, there’s no way to join a meeting directly. The meeting organizer will need to grant you access before you can join.
