The online portion of the 2024 Call of Duty League season has officially wrapped up, meaning there’s just one more regular season LAN before CoD Champs.
Call of Duty League Major IV Tournament | Championship Sunday
The MW3 CDL season is quickly coming to an end. But before we actually reach that point, there’s the 2024 Call of Duty League Major Four tournament in California, taking place without fans from June 27-30. This event is the last chance for the 12 franchises to earn CDL points to finish in the top eight of the standings and qualify for the end-of-season play-offs.
The CDL teams have been battling it out in the last few weeks in the final round of online qualifiers of the year, and we’ve seen some shocking results. OpTic Texas, who won Major Three in May, unexpectedly finished 1-6 in the CDL Major Four qualifiers, meaning they automatically start Major Four in the losers’ bracket. Toronto Ultra, on the other hand, finished first with a 6-1 score, including a notable win over Atlanta FaZe, who also went 6-1. Five teams, Seattle Surge, Los Angeles Thieves, Miami Heretics, Vegas Legion, and New York Subliners, all finished 4-3.
Looking at the overall 2024 CDL season standings, there is only 30 points separating fifth and eleventh place. This means that Major Four will be a real battle for all teams trying to make their way to the 2024 CoD Champs.
