Riot Games has revealed a small cast of characters for the upcoming fighting game 2XKO. The cast is diverse and confusing.

The roster consists of characters from the League of Legends universe, with six of them being revealed so far. They are Ahri, Ekko, Darius, Yasuo, Illaoi, and the most recent reveal: Braum. With Yordles apparently being too short and hopes for crossover characters seemingly nigh, how does Riot Games decide which characters to add to 2XKO? Dot Esports had the chance to discuss that with game director Shaun Rivera, as well as more details about the game, at Evo on July 21.

“We’re trying to figure out if we’re not serving a lot of players well, and how we can serve them better,” Rivera told Dot Esports. “So usually [when choosing new fighters], it falls into one of two categories.”
