Spring and summer are of course the busiest season for weddings, parties and of course proms. Although anticipation brings a lot of fun, you are also faced with the need to think about your outfit, makeup, hair, nails and other details.
Very simple updo hairstyle | Wedding, bridesmaid, prom
And while we can't help you with your clothes shopping, we found a great video with 3 hairstyle ideas that will suit any look. If you like to put your hair up for a special event, watch this video, with three tutorials created by a talented hair enthusiast Lydia, author of a popular Instagram blog @whatlydialikes.
In her first tutorial, Lydia demonstrates a very easy way to create an elegant, formal updo. She parts a side section and puts the rest of her hair in a low ponytail. Using a spiral scrunchie instead of a regular band helps prevent tension and makes it more comfortable for people prone to headaches caused by wearing hair.
Lydia twists the ponytail through a small section just above the ponytail. She then wraps the ends and pins them underneath to create a bun shape. You can lightly backcomb the hair to prevent the strands from falling apart in the middle. If you want to keep all the hair together, tie the ends with a small elastic band before tucking them underneath. Spray your bun with a strong hairspray and use the can to smooth down the loose hairs.
