Just like reading cover to cover, Apple developers have left almost nothing untouched in their efforts to improve the user experience. Let’s take a look at a few updates and feature improvements that can improve your experience on a pragmatic level.
One of the noticeable changes coming with iOS 16 is the move of the Notification Center on your lock screen to the bottom. Along with this shift comes the option to change the notification view into 3 different layouts. There’s the “Stack” view if you want to glam up your lock screen, but if you’re a stickler for minimalism, you can even shrink your notifications down to the “Count” bullet (see screenshot) at the bottom of the screen.
Don't worry, the traditional "List" is available as the third and final layout if you still prefer the old way. You can quickly switch the notification view by pinching the notification context or even in the Settings.
