XDefiant is officially the newest addition now that it has been fully released. It's not perfect, but it does everything it can to compete with CoD.

Call of Duty is the standard-bearer when it comes to the most popular first-person shooters, and I think even the most dedicated Counter-Strike fans would disagree. After starting out as a largely single-player-focused title that competed with the storytelling abilities of Medal of Honor, it’s now the ultimate multiplayer behemoth—and XDefiant is having none of it.

Ubisoft's XDefiant is the latest attempt to challenge CoD's dominance. There's still plenty of time to catch up, but I can tell you right now how this game is better than modern Call of Duty.

I don't think XDefiant is better than Call of Duty at this point. However, there are a few key areas where the new multiplayer FPS outshines its rival.
