I'm trying the Bowl method on my tangled wavy hair
Part of what worries me about full-time curls is that I tend to get bored with my hair. I always cut it off, let it grow out, change the color. With the co-wash or conditioner in your hair (whatever your final step is), turn your head and gently comb your hair with your fingers, bringing it all out. Use a wide-toothed comb to distribute the product evenly; this also smoothes your hair and prevents frizz.
