If you want to create great Spotify playlists but don’t want to spend hours of your time and energy doing so, consider the following tools and resources. Some are provided by Spotify itself, and others come from third-party developers.

Imagine you’re in a certain mood, or doing a certain activity, or you want to listen to a specific genre of music. Playlist Miner can use search terms like “mellow,” “workout,” or “country” and identify the top songs from the most popular public Spotify playlists.

The tool works by connecting to your Spotify account and then presenting you with a list of playlists based on your search criteria. From there, click on Find Top Tracks to see a list of individual track suggestions and their scores.

To automatically generate playlists in Spotibot, enter an artist name or connect Spotibot to your Last.fm profile. If you want the most popular songs in your playlist, select Favorite songs before creating them.
