Human players are growing frustrated with the current state of the game, with play with friends being disrupted by numerous issues that prevent them from enjoying the intended horror post-apocalyptic experience.

A Once Human player took his case to Reddit, writing, “Trying to play with friends is a horrible experience,” while sharing his issues. He stated that he had created more than four servers and had to restart on low-population servers to play with his friends, making it a tiring experience.
However, since the game doesn't allow you to transfer your progress to a new server, it becomes more difficult for everyone to find their friends and enjoy the game together.
Although Starry Studio made matters worse by announcing a non-deletable character per account due to a "technical limitation" in their FAQ at launch, a move that received significant backlash from the community, the developer quickly went back on its words and enabled multiple character creation features on servers, allowing everyone to play with their friends. According to the developer, the decision to have one character per account resulted in a "degraded gameplay experience" for everyone, so they didn't wait until August to reintroduce the feature.
