An Evening in Malibu with Taylor Jenkins Reid
Southern California summers bring sunny weather, breezy beach days, and, if you’re lucky, a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Malibu. For Chase United Cardmembers, a highlight of the season was the night they met Taylor Jenkins Reid.
On July 18, fans lined up at the Malibu Pier with books in hand to enjoy an exclusive meet-and-greet with their favorite author, known for her bestselling books “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,” “Daisy Jones & The Six,” “Malibu Rising” and others.
To kick off the event, the group of 50 Cardmembers were greeted upon arrival with a personalized leather bookmark, which they could use with their signed copy of “Carrie Soto Is Back.” Around the room, a bartender busily poured glasses of red and white wine throughout the evening, while trays of various hors d’oeuvres, including delicious mini lobster rolls and crab cakes, were passed around the room. The intention behind the details of the event was palpable to any in-the-know fan.
