You’ll unlock your first Adaptation around two hours into the game, depending on your skill level, when you take on The Shallows’ main first boss. While most Adaptations can be found by defeating specific campaign and secret bosses, there are a few hidden throughout the overworld.
Collecting all eight is quite an achievement, so for the perfectionists, it's essential to know where to look to collect them all in Another Crab's Treasure.
Location: The Sands Between. Go west to find a bunch of Bobbit enemies on a cliff. The Adaptation is at the top.
