Ceolwulf is one of the Anglo-Saxon historical characters that you will get to know after a few chapters in the game. The first task that you undertake to specifically help Ceolwulf along with Ivar Ragnarson is during Chapter 3 of the game entitled 'The Kingmaker's Saga'. In a series of quests that you undertake during this chapter, you are able to successfully track down the previous ruler King Burgred and install Ceolwulf as king in his place.
