With a 4ms response time and native 60Hz refresh rate, the R240HY performs smoothly when editing video, streaming, and watching movies. Its Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels produces great image quality in the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. This, combined with Acer's zero-frame design and minimal stand, make the R240HY a special consideration for those looking for a space-saving 24-inch monitor.

The color production of the R240HY is what we would consider more mid-tier for LCD monitors. This Acer has vibrant colors with a decent contrast ratio and relatively deep blacks for an IPS monitor. For its price range, this monitor has a sharp, bright image quality and is great for displaying all of your favorite media.

Thanks to the IPS panel’s wide 178-degree viewing angle, it looks great from almost anywhere. For example, if you’re watching a movie with friends, any seat in the house is a good spot.
