Now that Intel has let the cat out of the bag about its new Ultra Core line of CPUs, Acer wants us all to know that it has put the new chips in two of its laptop lines: the Predator Triton Neo 16 and the Swift Go 14.
Intel Core Ultra Processors Explained in 60 Seconds
The Nitro 16 (originally announced a week or so ago) gaming laptop will now feature Intel’s new Core Ultra line, up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X system memory, and up to a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. Monitor options have been specced out as well, with a 16-inch 3.2K display with advanced Optimus and Nvidia G-Sync capabilities. You can also opt for the 1920 x 1200 display, but… why?
The Swift Go 14 line will now feature an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or Ultra 5 125H with Intel Arc Graphics cards, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD. It too has a number of display options, including a 90Hz 14-inch OLED display or a 60Hz 1920 x 1200 display. It also features a 1440p webcam, Intel Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and LE support, and dual USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a MicroSD card reader.
Both laptops can take advantage of Intel's new AI acceleration capabilities, Windows Copilot, and battery-saving power management.
