The popular H2M mod for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, set to release tomorrow, has been shut down thanks to a cease and desist order from Activision.

H2M, which added a slew of quality-of-life updates like Prestige mode levels and camos, as well as all of Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps, weapons and more to the 2017 CoD 4 remaster, had the game catapulted to the top of Steam’s best-sellers chart earlier this week. It would be a completely free mod.
Today, our team members received a Cease & Desist order from Activision Publishing regarding the H2M Mod project. We are complying with this order and are immediately and permanently ceasing all operations.
But before the wide release, the CoD publisher stepped in to take action after sales slowed. Now, "H2M is complying with this order and is immediately and permanently ceasing all operations."
