Open Windows Media Player 11 and select the Library tab to view the library section. In the left pane, you will see playlist options and categories such as artist, album, songs, etc. You can also add music and other media types to your library.
Select the small down arrow under the Library tab at the top of the screen.
A dropdown menu will appear with several options. Select Add to Library and set your media type to music.
