How to Apply Different Headers and Footers to the Same Word Document

The easiest way to insert a header or footer is to position the mouse pointer in the top or bottom margin of a section and double-click to open the Header & Footer workspace. Anything you add to this workspace will appear on every page in the section. To return to the body of your document, double-click anywhere in the document.

You can also use the Microsoft Word ribbon to add a header or footer. The advantage of this method is that the options are pre-formatted. Microsoft Word offers headers and footers with colored dividers, document titles, dates, page numbers, and other elements. Using one of these pre-formatted styles can save you time and add a touch of professionalism to your documents. Here’s how:
