If you've ever done video editing, you know that tools make all the difference in how hard it is to create a polished final product. Adobe is trying to make that easier.
Generative AI in Premiere Pro Powered by Adobe Firefly | Adobe Video
In a press release on Monday, Adobe showed off a number of new generative AI capabilities it’s working on for its Premiere Pro video editing suite. These tools include AI to generate and edit images, enhance design, create text effects, and even improve audio workflows. They’re powered by Adobe’s FireFly AI, and can even work with other AI models from Pika Labs, OpenAI, and Runway.
“Adobe is reimagining every step of the video creation and production workflow to give creators new power and flexibility to realize their vision,” said Ashley Still, senior vice president, Creative Product Group at Adobe. “By bringing generative AI innovations deep into the core workflows of Premiere Pro, we’re solving real pain points that video editors experience every day, while freeing them up to focus on their craft.”
As part of the announcement, Adobe previewed several new features, including the ability to use generative AI to seamlessly extend a video clip, edit or remove objects in the video, and add b-roll footage using third-party generative AI models.
