Alex is a former Lifewire freelancer who has been writing about tech problems and their solutions since 2016. He built his first computer in 1998 to play Half-Life. He has been obsessed with computer hardware and software ever since.
He has worked as a digital technician for photo and video productions, and has done on-set tech and media management for several production companies. He has also managed tech support for several small businesses and helped countless family members and friends remove mountains of malware from their computers.
