The bar for the ALGS has been raised and fiercer since the 2019 Poland Preseason Invitational, which pitted 40 teams against each other in the 2024 Split One Playoffs in Los Angeles. But for some, it’s just another day at the office, where the trophy was finally there for all to grab.

Most Apex controller demons didn’t have far to travel for this one, as the ALGS Year Four: Split One Playoffs were taking place in LA. Broadcast over four days, the stakes were high from start to finish. No one wanted to go home early, and for the 40 teams that qualified from the Pro League, well, the real test begins on May 2nd.
No stranger to match point, pros from all over the world traveled to LA hungry for the LAN title and to finally dethrone TSM and DZ. Spoiler alert, they did.
The Split One Playoffs schedule followed the group stage on May 2-3. In this stage, the 40 teams were divided into four groups (A, B, C, and D), with one group pitted against the other until all groups had played six games against each other group.
