The Alienware M15 is based on the Area-51m, but still outperforms it in many cases. The display, for example, is better: the review unit we received had a 4K display at 60 fps. That's fine for watching media, but it falls a bit short when gaming.
While 60fps is still a bit better than what most consoles can offer at the moment, you really have to make a choice when buying one. You can choose between a 4K display, which limits your frames per second, or a 1080p OLED display, which lets you push the visual boundaries.
The 1080p display feels the same though and the OLED allows for better screen color calibration, making for a very good experience.
