Splitgate 2 retains much of what earned the original Splitgate such a passionate fanbase, with portals that intensify the classic arena shooter experience. But it also updates the formula with factions, abilities, and Perks.
Splitgate 2 Gameplay is a HUGE step forward!
Perks are small boosts to different aspects of gameplay that you can tweak to suit your playstyle. While they might not be as big as your faction’s abilities, they can still add nuance to how you like to play the game and can even add utility to your team or simply help you kill longer, if that’s what you want. Here are all the current Perks and how they work in Splitgate 2, which is currently in alpha testing.
If you’re unfamiliar with Perks or don’t know where to find them, you’re not alone. You can select Perks from your Loadout screen by clicking on the icons that show a circle with a line through it in the lower right corner of your loadout.
Once you click this icon, you will be given two options for each Perk slot in your loadout. While there is one Perk that is the same for every faction in the game, most of the Perks available to you are unique to each class. You can equip two Perks at a time.
