World of Warcraft Cataclysm was noted for the many changes it brought to the game, including a major overhaul of the open world, numerous new quests in each zone, and new races for both factions in the game.
How Cataclysm Classic is MASSIVELY Changing Guilds
One of the most notable changes to WoW’s gameplay system during the Cataclysm expansion was guild perks: special abilities that guilds could collectively earn through leveling up together. Some of these perks ranged from minor buffs to mount speed, honor point accrual, and more, but some guild perks were outright broken. And luckily for some players, a handful of them won’t be returning for the WoW Cataclysm Classic re-release.
Additionally, Blizzard is changing a number of guild perks to make them more basic and removing the need to join a fully leveled guild in Cataclysm Classic. In short, many of the guild-related mechanics you may remember from the game’s original release have been removed or changed.
Blizzard has decided to remove two former Cataclysm guild perks from the new version of the game: Cash Flow and Have Group, Will Travel.
