On August 6, Valve released a new update to the regional standings that determine invites for Counter-Strike 2 Shanghai Major's RMR and closed qualifiers. The best squads in each region will be invited directly to the RMR, while the worst will have to go through the qualifiers first.

There’s a catch, though. HLTV confirmed that each organization will only be allowed to submit one CS2 team for the Shanghai Major and the qualifiers. This means that a few organizations will have to decide which teams they want to use in the Major run. The organizations that will be affected include Imperial, MOUZ, and FlyQuest, whose female or academy teams are also eligible to qualify based on standings. The latter petitioned Valve on August 6 to change this rule.
In the tables below we've listed the main rosters of these organizations (in their respective regions). This list is subject to change until Perfect World and Valve make official confirmations.
