More information is finally available about the next installment in the Doom series, and it brings good news for gamers on most platforms.

The game is published by Bethesda, which I'm pleased to say doesn't exactly guarantee Xbox exclusivity like it did when Microsoft first acquired the company. Read on for a list of all the platforms Doom: The Dark Ages is currently releasing on.
Doom: The Dark Ages is scheduled for release in 2025, and it's been confirmed that the game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. We also know the game will be playable on Game Pass, though it's not clear yet if it will be a day one Game Pass release like Black Ops 6.
While the previous entry in the series, Doom Eternal, did eventually get a Nintendo Switch version, there currently appear to be no plans to make Doom: The Dark Ages available to Nintendo players.
