Most dragons and dragon-shaped creatures, such as Magma Wyrms, drop Dragon Hearts. You'll want as many Dragon Hearts as you can get, especially if you're going for a Dragon Form or Dragon Priestess Form build in Shadow of the Erdtree. This dragon is likely the first one you’ll encounter in your playthrough. Located in Limgrave, just east of the First Step Site of Grace, you can walk or ride Torrent to Agheel Lake. On the northern side, Flying Dragon Agheel swoops down in style, landing on some unsuspecting undead soldiers.
Elder Dragon Greyoll is huge and is considered the mother of all dragons. She can be found in Caelid, surrounded by a handful of normal dragons. She won’t attack you, but has almost 100k health, so use a Bleed weapon like the Morning Star to get through her thick hide. Kill her for around 80,000 Runes, or more if you use a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot. Killing Greyoll is a great way to get an early character off to a good start.
