Armor Trims are customization options for Armor that add 18 different looks to the armor. Each of these trims can be found in different locations, so I'll show you where to find each Armor Trim in Minecraft.

Armor Trims can be found in chests in certain dangerous locations throughout Minecraft. The chests contain something called a Smithing Template, which is used to apply a specific armor trim. Some Armor Trims require multiple steps to find, while others simply require you to find the structure they're in.

In this guide, I'll tell you where to find all 18 Armor Trim Smithing Templates, including the templates from the Tricky Trials update, and how to get them for yourself.

The Bolt Armor Trim is the first of two new Armor Trims coming to the Tricky Trials update. The Armor Trim Template can be found deep underground in the new Trial Chambers. The first way to get it is by finding it in one of the many Reward Chests scattered throughout the Trial Chamber. The second way to get it is by defeating a Trial Spawner and using the Trial Key to open a Vault containing the Bolt Armor Trim Smithing Template.
