Below is a list of the best melee weapons in Palworld, categorized by their damage, usability, and all the materials needed to craft them. Even after you reach higher levels, you'll still want to craft a sharp blade or a blunt club to keep in your inventory.
The best weapon early in the game, the Club, will serve you well in defeating low-level Pals like Lamball or Chikipi. For five Wood and one Technology Point, you can have a durable and reliable Level 1 melee weapon to get you started.
The Stone Axe is useful for chopping wood and fending off low-level Pals, and for one Technology Point you’ll unlock an effective Level 1 resource-gathering tool to help you out early on. It’s not the most durable weapon, though, and since it only costs five Stone and Wood apiece, you can easily craft a new one when the first one wears out.
