According to the official Monster Hunter Wilds website, the next game will feature a game-changing feature regarding weapons: "Your Seikret isn't just for traveling, though. You can also fit an additional weapon into your weapon sling, allowing you to switch between two weapons of your choice while hunting."
The ability to carry two weapons and switch between them thanks to the sling on your Seikret mount can make a huge difference when hunting, so this is a new feature you’ll want to use right away.
