You can unlock multiple mounts as you play Final Fantasy XIV, but the way you unlock them varies from mount to mount. Some are easier to obtain than others, and it can take some time to earn your favorite mounts along with your friends, especially in Dawntrail.

There are several that you can focus on after completing the Main Scenario Quests in Dawntrail. There are 13 unique mounts that you can unlock after purchasing the Dawntrail expansion in Final Fantasy XIV. Some of these are easier to unlock than others as you work your way through the game, while others are a lot more complicated and won't be available until you're ready to tackle a large chunk of the endgame content.
