It’s a simple set of research that rewards you with sun-themed items and encounters, including the exclusive Sun Crown avatar item, which Pikachu and Eevee can wear during Go Fest events this summer. This is just the first part of the exclusive, early access Timed Research that Niantic has planned for Go Fest, and here’s a guide to every task, reward, and requirement it entails.

Pokémon Go Fest 2024: A Glimpse of Daylight Timed Research will only be available to claim if you purchase your Go Fest 2024: Global event ticket before May 6 and claim it in-game. It expires on July 13, meaning you have just over two months to complete all of the content as various Go Fest events take place around the world.
