The BlackBerry is no more and I am probably one of the few people who regret this.

This week, the company ended support for its classic devices running BlackBerry 10, 7.1 OS and earlier. All older BlackBerry devices that don’t run Android software will no longer be able to use data, send text messages, access the internet or make calls.

With its signature thumb keyboard and small screen, the BlackBerry ushered in the era of smartphones. Today’s iPhones and Android devices are far more powerful, but they’re not nearly as efficient as the BlackBerry when it comes to actually getting work done.
