Here's what we know about the iconic new Assassin's Creed set ahead of official previews, and what the key points to look out for.
Beyond Booster Assassin's Creed packs contain six slots and eight cards, one of which is a token or advertising card. Fans have been wary of WotC changing the packaging of booster packs ever since the March of the Machine: The Aftermath Epilogue booster debacle. And the pre-order prices of MTG Assassin's Creed Beyond booster packs don't help.
At the time of writing, the pre-order price for an Assassin's Creed Beyond booster box is around $130. To put the price into perspective, an Outlaws of Thunder Junction Playbooster box is worth around $145, and contains packs with seven slots and 15 cards (including the token/ad card). The price might be justified if the Beyond booster packs included Collector treatments, but the Universes Beyond set already has Collector booster packs, with boxes pre-ordering for around $270.
