“Robots in disguise” and “more than meets the eye” are nice ways to describe some of the Overwatch 2 cast, but they’re also signature lyrics from the Transformers theme song.

And that’s why the new Overwatch 2 Transformers team-up is a perfect fit. Set in a world taken over by evil robots, OW2’s next team-up features both good and evil bots to don as they climb the competitive ladder.

The OW2 x Transformers collaboration kicks off on July 9, and four OW2 heroes will get their own transformations into classic characters from the toy franchise that began in the '80s and is still popular today.
