While Apple didn't mention any updates to Apple TV during its Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) keynote on Monday, there are some changes coming later this year.
Everything NEW for Apple TV in tvOS 18!
The Apple TV 4K page highlights all the new features you can expect to see coming to tvOS 15 this fall, including SharePlay, so you can watch movies or shows with anyone, anywhere; a new row in the Apple TV app called For All of You, so everyone can agree on what to watch; and spatial audio compatibility when you're listening with your AirPods Pro or AirPods Max.
Other updates include Apple's new Shared with You feature, which gives you a convenient way to save movies and shows that others send you in Messages into a separate Shared with You folder, so you can watch them at your leisure.
The Apple TV also gets HomeKit camera improvements, allowing you to view multiple cameras around your home at once and enjoy room-filling stereo sound when using two HomePod mini speakers.
