World of Warcraft Cataclysm is a complete update of the world of Azeroth as we know it. Every area in the game has been thoroughly renewed visually and content-wise.

The "breaking of the world" caused by Deathwing's arrival completely changed the face of Azeroth, and it also added a few new zones for players to explore. In WoW Cataclysm Classic, there are five new leveling zones that you'll play through on your journey from level 80 to the new max level of 85: Mount Hyjal, Vashj'ir, Deepholm, Uldum, and the Twilight Highlands.
There's a good chance you'll be running through all of the Cataclysm zones as you level up, with the exception of Vashj'ir / Mount Hyjal, which you'll have to choose from immediately upon starting your quest. Ever since Wrath of the Lich King, Blizzard has made it a point to give players multiple choices for starting zones at the top of a new expansion to avoid flooding, but we expect Mount Hyjal to be the more popular of the two zones, just as it was when Cataclysm first released in 2010.
Once you complete the first zone, leveling is relatively linear and you can progress through the Cataclysm storyline as intended.
