Disney fans can rejoice: Amazon Alexa technology is getting a Disney twist with a new feature: “Hey, Disney!”
Disney Takes Over Your Home Assistant ('Hey Disney' Hands-On)
Announced during Amazon's event on Tuesday, the tech giant describes the feature as a new kind of voice assistant in partnership with Disney. The feature will allow beloved Disney characters from Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and more to communicate with you on supported Echo devices.
The Assistant includes over 1,000 custom interactions, including the voices of these characters and original recordings from the Disney library, jokes, interactive facts, soundscapes and more.
Amazon also announced that starting next year, all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will be equipped with an Echo Show 5 in hotel rooms, allowing people to use the “Hey Disney” feature to find information about the parks or request hotel services.
