Amazon is releasing a new software design that makes it easier to navigate Kindle e-readers.
Amazon releases new firmware for all Kindle models
Amazon has unveiled a new software update for Kindle e-readers that features a redesigned navigation bar at the bottom of the home screen. The dual-tab bar can be used to directly reach the Home and Library screens, and users can also directly access frequently used features via an arrow at the top of the screen.
Amazon says the update is designed to make everything about using a Kindle easier, including new menu navigation when reading a book.
Users can now easily change their device’s brightness, turn on airplane mode, and adjust other settings at any time by swiping down from the top of their screen. There are also plans to add new filters, a new collection view, and a slider that users can interact with.
