There are four possible endings for Fallout 4, and Amazon's Fallout TV series may have just confirmed which of them are canon.
The CANON ending of Fallout 4!
In Fallout 4, players are the sole survivors of Vault 111. They set out to find their son, Shaun, but find themselves caught up in deciding the fate of the Commonwealth. By the end of the story, they must side with one of four factions, and it seems like either the Brotherhood of Steel or the Minutemen are canon based on hints from the show.
In the show, the Brotherhood of Steel uses airships to attack the New California Republic outpost at Griffith Observatory. The main control ship appears in episode one, and a fan on Fallout's Reddit spotted a small but important detail.
It's called "Prydwen", which is the same name as the plane used in Fallout 4. It means that the Brotherhood of Steel must have emerged victorious in the battle, with either the Sole Survivor on their side or the Minutemen. If you choose the Railroad or Institute factions in Fallout 4, Prydwen will be destroyed in one of the final battles.
