Ever since I first played Animal Crossing, New Horizons, and Stardew Valley, I’ve been longing for a game to follow up on them and fill the void, and I’m happy to report that Amber Isle has done just that.
Amber Isle Finally Fills the Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley Void
The team at Ambertail Games have created a truly magical experience, with a setting I can't get enough of and characters I love, brilliantly combined with a variety of quests that keep me hooked again and again.
The beginning of Amber Isle will sound familiar to gamers. You arrive on an island that has fallen into disrepair, with few people left in the town and other areas closed off. It is your job to restore the island to its former glory while also paying off the large debt you have accumulated during your own move.
As a shopkeeper on Amber Isle, I spend my days crafting new items, negotiating with customers, and exploring the island around me. That leads to tough decisions every morning: should I gather resources or should I open my shop first?
