Five Nights at Freddy's, the popular indie horror series, may soon be getting a kart racer spin-off, following Mario, Sonic and other series, if leaks are to be believed.
They're putting FNAF in Mario Kart!
A mysterious video uploaded to X and found on Reddit shows a two-minute game trailer featuring FNAF-themed characters in cars driving around areas and locations inspired by the video games. It's apparently called Five Laps at Freddy's and appears to mix horror with kart racing.
Not much more is known about the alleged leaked game from the trailer, but according to the trailer, a demo is supposed to be released on August 7th for people to try. So if the leak is real, we should see some announcements in the coming days.
The game looks pretty bad and feels like something made for mobile or a low-end release over a polished title. Most of the assets seem like placeholders so we'd be shocked if it turned out to be real unless it was in some sort of beta or early access state.
