In a move towards improved security, X (formerly Twitter) has introduced passkey support for Android users. The feature, which has been available for iOS and web users since July, is now being expanded to the Android platform.

Passkeys represent a significant leap in online security. Unlike traditional passwords, passkeys use cryptographic techniques to verify a user's identity. This method is not only more secure, but also more convenient for users.
Once the access code is set, it can be used to authenticate the user when logging in. A traditional password is then no longer required.
X is rolling out this feature in a phased approach. While some Android users may already have access to passkey logins, others may have to wait until the feature is gradually rolled out globally.
