In addition to the various new units, Anime Vanguards Update 1 also includes a new unit element system for the base game. Many players across multiple platforms are confused about this new gameplay feature compared to the existing traits functionality. So here is a special guide that will explain everything about the Unit Elements feature in the game.

Basically, the developers of Anime Vanguards have given each unit in the game an element type. These elements provide unique buffs/perks to the character to increase their overall effectiveness in battle. It can include an increase in damage when attacking a boss, immunity to any type of debuffs, or other perks that vary from Element to Element.

Currently there are 10 different unit elements in the game. Below you can see the buffs that each element provides.

You can always check the element of your unit by hovering over the character profile in the upgrade menu while playing the game. So place the unit first and then hover over the unit profile to learn the element type.
