A little crab who goes on an epic journey to get his home back, learns all about the problems in the world and tries to help? And all that combined with an awesome combat system that challenges you with every enemy? Another Crab's Treasure is a no-brainer for me!
Another review of Crab's Treasure
Any game that uses the word "schmoovin'" gets an A+ for storytelling in my book. The story of Another Crab's Treasure follows Kril as he tries to get his shell back from a "shark" who has taken it for tax purposes. The game relies so heavily on the silliness that I suspended my disbelief that the shark was a puppet on a stick and actually believed that it was a real shark. Never mind that all the other animals were just animals; I was just as naive as Kril.
The story is told through dialogue with NPCs, and often it is completely insane and hilarious. Aside from the main story, I appreciated the fact that I could communicate with almost anyone, as long as they weren't 'infected'. I loved being called poor when I tried to buy shell insurance from the Shellfish Greeter.
