Imagine a beautiful aquatic world full of vibrant coral reefs and unique creatures. Now fill that world with crumpled Coke cans, cigarette butts, and the inky gunk oozing from underwater flora. Sounds gross, right? That’s the world of Another Crab’s Treasure, the latest indie Soulslike to hit digital shelves soon. But despite all the pollution and trash, developer Aggro Crab has created a stunning world that you’ll never want to leave.

In Another Crab's Treasure you play as a lonely little hermit crab, Kril, whose shell is torn apart by a (literal) loan shark. You set out into the deep blue ocean, but what starts as a quest to reunite with your home soon becomes something much, much bigger. All you have at the start of your journey is a rusty fork. Eventually, however, you'll find a variety of shells that will protect you as you explore a beautiful aquatic world full of wonders.

Another Crab's Treasure doesn't surpass the status quo of the Soulslike genre, but it does house a beautiful world worth exploring. A world with charm, creative level design, and an engaging core gameplay mechanic that even the most seasoned Dark Souls veterans will appreciate.

There are a total of 69 grenades to collect in the game, and each one offers different defensive stats and weights, which is exactly what you’d expect from armor in Soulslikes. But what sets this title apart is that grenades offer a variety of abilities to supplement your melee attack. Some grenades offer buffs, such as increased attack speed or temporary invincibility, while others fire cones of damaging bubbles or smoke bursts to distract enemies.
