Apex Legends’ latest collectible event was announced today, marking the return of the hit limited-time mode, Three Strikes. In Urban Assault, launching on April 23, players will have another chance to tackle the fast-paced mode, alongside the addition of a new asynchronous tournament system and a series of streetwear skins.

The new event arrives with a familiar slate of content for an Apex Collection event, with a few unexpected twists. Chief among these is the Apex Rumble Beta: a competitive experience where players can earn points against opponents of similar skill to climb the leaderboard, before earning rewards based on their overall placement after a Rumble concludes.

But for those less interested in the competitive side of Apex, the cosmetics included in this update are just as enticing. The futuristic urban techwear aesthetic calls to mind some of Titanfall’s best art styles, and as always, there will be a total of 24 cosmetics available to purchase within the theme. Any player who purchases the full collection can also look forward to a new Octane Prestige skin, Apex Riptide, as a final reward. If the other skins included here aren’t neon-drenched enough for you, the Prestige skin has a slick synthwave feel that carries through to its unique Finisher and Skydive Trail.

The return of Three Strikes to Urban Assault is intrinsically tied to the premiere of Apex Rumble. The first Rumble will last the entire duration of the event, with competitors jumping into Three Strikes matches to climb the ladder. It also received a few tweaks from the mid-season patch, including a reduction in reanimation times, a change to the health values at which players are revived, and a new minimum guaranteed loot system.
