You may have noticed a new name in the Apex Legends universe scribbled in today's Urban Assault trailer , and you're not alone. Many fans spotted what appeared to be confirmation of the game's Season 21 character, Alter, live-editing the Apex Rumble modes.
This is Apex's biggest update yet!
The moment, which takes place 39 seconds into the trailer, sees Fuse's name written out at the top of the leaderboard, replaced by Alter's, along with a smiling green cartoon devil that looks like it could be Altar's logo. The same logo appears over Lifeline's face on a screen in the background just four seconds in, and also over Octane's face at the very end of the trailer.
The specific green color seems to recall a similar green seen in the skies above various Apex maps this week, as another teaser showed Olympus in the skies above Storm Point, Broken Moon, and even Olympus itself. And that's not all: popular dataminer and leaker HYPERMYST noted that the laugh heard at the end of the Urban Assault trailer also belongs to Alter.
Given the previous leaks on Alter, all of these things make sense. She's reportedly an interdimensional traveler/trickster with a talent for phasing, not unlike Wraith.
